The SEC: Yesterday and Today 9 | Ross Dellenger, The Advocate

Bird (Autull) and Ross (@RossDellenger) begin the conversation with a little chat on baseball before they get down to the nitty gritty of LSU vs. Alabama. Yes, the Houston Astros, a few miles west of Baton Rouge on I-10 West, just defeated the Los Angeles Dodgers to capture the World Series title. The Astros had a great deal of help from two former LSU stars, Alex Bregman and Will Harris, in winning the fall classic in seven games.

It was then onward to football as Ross explained what has been going on in Red Stick this week prior to the big match-up in Tuscaloosa on Saturday. Alabama is a heavy 21.5 point favorite and the anticipation level has not been what it has in some years past before this big game. But, the Bayou Bengals do have some weapons on both sides of the ball and could provide the Tide with a bit of a challenge before all is said and done.

Ross then explains what it would take for LSU to do on offense, defense, and special teams to beat Bama.

The podcast concludes, per usual, with predictions on all of the SEC games to be played this weekend.

Listen up, college football fans!
